Welcome to the UMS
Welcome to the website for the University of Birmingham Music Society. The student-run society extends its membership throughout the university and beyond. It organises a large University Choir, two auditioned orchestras, the Chamber Choir, a Wind Band, Brass Band and Jazz Orchestra to give as many people as possible the opportunity of participating in musical activities in the University.

We've put on some fantastic concerts this term, as usual wide ranging in their repertoire. Also, well done to the new UMS Saxophone Ensemble, details of which will appear soon! All the best to everyone with deadlines and exams, and don't forget to support the Summer Festival of Music!
